Story NFT license "explain like I am five":
Story NFT licenses are hard-coded and cannot be altered by Clopr or anyone else after a Story is minted.
0 - Introduction
This is to say that when you get a Story NFT you agree with the following Story NFT License. It also clarifies that you own a Story NFT License for as long as you own the Underlying NFT associated with it. Also, your Story NFT rights are only properly explained in the "License Story NFT.pdf" document above and nowhere else.
1- GENERAL LICENSING INFORMATION
This part is to say that Story NFTs can be used in a variety of ways, including personal and commercial use, such as in a virtual library, on products, on services...You name it. You also have the right to use, share, and make different versions of your Story NFT. However, keep in mind that Clopr also owns the rights to your NFT, and we reserve the right to create our own versions of it. This is because we are working on new potions that require us to do so.
2- SCOPE OF APPLICATION
This chapter is to illustrate that you can mostly do anything (legal of course!) you want with your Story NFT as long as you own its Underlying NFT, and if you sell the Underlying NFT, then the rights will go to the new owner of the Underlying NFT. Also, without our permission, you cannot use any logos, trademarks, or anything that has to do with the "Clopr" brand.
3- USE OF THE ASSIGNED RIGHTS
Here it clarifies that a Story NFT is a digital certificate that allows you to own a story. You can use the certificate to make copies of the story, share it with others, create new stories based on the original story, or use it for commercial purposes. Clopr promises that all the parts of the Story NFT are its original work; this is why every Story NFT comes with a plagiarism report.
4- DISCLAIMER, LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, AND INDEMNIFICATION
This is the disclaimer part of the license where users must take responsibility for their own safety when interacting with the CloprHouse (dApp). Because this is Blockchain we can not revert any transactions you validate with your wallet. In fact, no one can.
5- ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS
It basically says that if you're new to the NFT space, the Clopr project can be tricky to get your head around. If you're having any legal problems, you and Clopr should work it out together first. If that doesn't work, the issue can be taken to a court in Switzerland and a judge will decide.
